Mapping the COM port (For users of
“Windows 10 Professional”)
■
Right-click on the Windows button to open the
“Device Manager”.
NOTE:
The way to open the “Device Manager” differs depending on the OS
you are using.
■
Open the
“Device Manager”.
NOTE: The process to open the Device Manager varies according to the operating
system version.
■
Expand “Ports” to show all available COM ports.
■
Connect the converter to an open USB port on the PC.
The device manager should then automatically update the COM port list.
Look for the COM port named “USB Serial Port”.
■
Right-
click this COM port and select “Properties”.
■
Click the “Port Setting” tab and select the “Advanced” button.
