Cut optimization is always following the rule of shortest path.
A very important requirement in metal cutting is cutting curves from the inside to the outside. Select
the “inside to outside” can do this. Then lasercuttist will cut all the curves from inside to outside. As
is shown in picture 3-32.

If user selects the “auto determined start point and direction”, lasercuttist will follow the shortest
path rule to change the start point of the curve. As is shown iin picture 3-33.

If the “start point optimize” has been selected, the “auto determine start point and direction” will be
disabled.
Start point optimize option will change the start point to the special position on the curve in
order to gain a good processing effect. As is shown in picture 3-34.
