• The power cable of this appliance must never be replaced by
the user. If the cable is damaged or requires replacing, contact a
service centre authorised by the manufacturer only.
• Never put the appliance under the tap to fill with water.It is
essential to avoid contact between the plate of the iron and
the electric cable. If the overheat protection device cuts in, the
appliance stops working. To use it again, the intervention of
professionally qualified personnel is required.
• Aiming the steam jet at people is dangerous and should be
avoided.
• Avoid using the iron on over-wet fabrics.
• After ironing, leave the plate to cool before putting the iron
away.
• Never mix stain removers or similar.
• Do not leave the appliance plugged into the mains or the on/off
switch turned on when the appliance is not in use.
• The boiler must never be moved during operation.
• Do not allow the power cable to come into contact with the
soleplate of the iron. Do not place the boiler on a surface which
is uneven or susceptible to damage from high temperatures.
• The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface

visible signs of damage or if it is leaking

of the hazards associated. Children should not play with
the appliance. The cleaning and maintenance should not be
performed by children unless they are supervised.

children under the age of 8 years old when it is powered or in
the cooling phase.
