SAFETY AND ACCIDENT PREVENTION INSTRUCTIONS
In addition to the standards reported in the “SAFETY
INSTRUCTIONS” booklet, the following requirements must also be
observed.

An isolation transformer must be inserted between the mains
and the tool
- Any operations carried out on the tool must be effected with the
power supply disconnected.
- Before starting the tool, ensure that it is held tightly and not in
contact with the work surface.
- The abrasive discs must be correctly fitted
ASSEMBLING THE TOOL
- Screw the side handle in the hole in the gearbox. The handle can
be mounted either on the left or right of the tool body

- Connect the tool to the water system via a hose of internal dia 8
mm inserted in the hose connector (6). Tighten using a hose clip.
The required water pressure is approximately 2 bar.
ASSEMBLING THE DISC PAD
- Screw the disc pad with abrasive disc onto the spindle
BEFORE STARTING THE TOOL
Ensure that:
- The body of the tool is dry; otherwise, dry it using compressed air
- There is an isolation transformer inserted between the mains
supply and the tool
- The power supply conforms with the characteristics of the tool.
- The power supply cable and plug are in perfect condition.
- The ON/OFF switch works properly though with the power supply
disconnected.
- The water feed device is connected and operational
- All the parts of the tool have been assembled in the proper
manner and that there is no evident damage.
- The ventilation slots are not obstructed.
STARTING-UP
STARTING AND STOPPING
- Starting: push the slide of the switch (2) forward; if the tool is to be
locked in the ON position, apply pressure to the front part of the
slide switch at the same time.
- Stopping: release the slide or, if locked in position, apply pressure
to the back part of the switch and allow it to return to the stop
position.
