HCV Group selection

HCV Sub group selection
dropdown list.
?
– HCV selection by vehicle brand, model and year.
Something to consider, when Smart CAN IO Selection turned on:
With HCV mode set on the CAN interface, only specific CAN IO parameters that are supported for currently
selected HCV Group and Subgroup will be visible. Unsupported parameters will not displayed in the list.
This feature helps to avoid confusion, since different HCV Groups, Subgroups support different number of
CAN IO parameters.
Changing configuration from one HCV Group, Subgroup combination to another might cause some issues.
Consider this case. During configuration you set some HCV Group, Subgroup. After this the IO list contains
only supported CAN parameters that are available for this specific HCV Group and Subgroup combination.
Let’s say you enable some of these IO parameters. Now, if you decide to change current HCV Group,
Subgroup combination, some of those IO parameters might be automatically disabled. It means that once
again you would have to enable them one by one, which is a very time consuming task.
Filter by engine
This feature allows to filter CANbus data by engine state. It helps to solve errors in EcoDrive data
calculations, which arise from invalid CANbus data. Errors occur, while vehicle’s ignition is being turned off
and during a short time period, after it was turned on. Full feature description is provided in the “
CANbus
filter by engine
” document.
