7. MAINTENANCE
Air filter
The air filter traps impurities and thus reduces engine wear.
Regular air filter maintenance extends the life of your appliance.
Check and clean the air filter by periodically cleaning and blowing out the filter cartridge.
Never use the atomizer without the air filter because dust particles absorbed by the
carburettor into the cylinder lead to premature engine damage, cylinder scratches.
To maintain performance and extend the life of your engine, aftertreatment according
to the manufacturer's markings is recommended.
Anchored air filters reduce engine power. They increase fuel consumption and therefore
the amount of exhaust gas pollutants. In addition, starting is made more difficult.
In case of heavy soiling, the filter can be cleaned in non-flammable cleaning fluid (warm
soapy water); the filter must be absolutely dry. If the filter material is damaged, the
relevant parts must be replaced immediately. For damage to the engine due to improper
maintenance, the fault does not fulfil the conditions of the guarantee.
