preparation
• Route the cable so it can’t be caught or tripped over.
• Lift the handle till it clicks into place.
• Sort fabrics by textile care symbols.

• If the garment label directions differ from these, follow the label.
• Lift the filler cap, fill the handle from the jug, and replace the cap.
• Use the jug to fill the tank via the steam control. Don’t fill past
max, or water will escape.
ironing
• Turn the thermostat to the required setting.
• Slide the steam control towards

for more steam, away for less.
• Sit the iron upright on a stable, level heat-resistant surface, and
plug it in – the light will glow.
• When the light goes out, start ironing – use an ironing board, or a
folded sheet or towel on a flat, heat-resistant surface.
• Iron fabrics needing low heat first, then work up to those needing
most heat.
