Load BridgeCo Module
1. Ensure the DMS-3.1 is off.
2. Connect the Router to your PC and DMS-3.1 as show in
section
Initial Test Setup
Step 1.
You will not need the MCA-C5 or any cables going to the MCA-C5.
You will not need the antennas going to the DMS-3.1 for this step.
3. Obtain 3 USB Flash Drives from Russound which will have the BridgeCo image.
This BridgeCo image file will be prepared by Russound and is a Linux image.
Each Drive will have a label named BC Magic.
4. Plug the BC Magic USB Flash Drive into the following USB Slots of the DMS-3.1.
The Front Panel USB Port,
The Stream 2 USB Port,
The Stream 3 USB Port.
5. Install a BridgeCo module into all 3 slots, J1, J3, and J14 of the DMS-3.1.

6. Plug the Russound Advanced Programming Cable from the PC Serial Port to the
J11 header of the DMS-3.1 Streamer. J11 is near the USB B port of the Streamer.
Note: The DMS-3.1*.img file must be installed before you can load firmware in
the BridgeCo Module.
