25. If the MAC ID’s of the BridgeCo modules are correct perform the
“Initial Test Setup”
section. If a MAC is not correct go to Step 26.
26. If any MAC ID does not match the label on each BridgeCo module then continue
with the rest of this section to manually enter the correct MAC ID.
This is a sample message where errors have occurred.
Module 1 shows an incorrect MAC ID.
Module 2 could not be programmed since BIST was not installed.
Module 3 was not installed.
27. At the root prompt type the following
setmac 1
for Module 1,
setmac 2
for Module 2, or
setmac 3
for Module 3.
Type in the MAC Address listed on the label for that BridgeCo module.
After it is finished type “bcinfo” at the root prompt and confirm the
MAC ID is correct for all modules.
