Audio Source Loop
Perform either the Automatic using RSS with a second R235LS,
Automatic using Zone 1 Line Output,
or the Manual Test.
Automatic using RSS
with a second R235LS
1. Unplug the speaker cable from the R235LS connected to the RSS that
monitors the MCA-C5 “Line Output” audio for Zone 1 – 8.
2. Plug the speaker cable into the second R235LS connected to the RSS that
monitors the MCA-C5 “Source Outputs” for Audio Source Connections 1 – 8.
3. Press the space bar at the “Audio Source Loop” script.
Once the space bar is pressed Source 1 is selected.
4. You will hear audio R & L channel from the speakers.
You will see undistorted audio R & L channel on the oscilloscope.
5. After two seconds Source 2 will be selected then each source will be selected
which you can monitor for 2 seconds until the next source is selected.
All sources 1 through 8 will be tested in this manner.
The Automatic Audio Source Loop Test
passes when the following occurs.
a) The script has cycled through Source 1 through Source 8 and you
hear and view undistorted audio from each source.
