6. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 10 seconds (still in balanced mode) until the lights
on the front flash rapidly several times with a subsequent pause, and then flash slowly.
7. The Hoverboard is calibrated. Release the button.
8. PLEASE NOTE! Then switch the Hoverboard off to save the calibration!
9. Switch the Hoverboard on again. It is now ready for use.
10. If the fault persists, repeat the calibration again carefully as outlined above.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
DAILY MAINTENANCE
The Hoverboard requires daily maintenance. Below is the related procedures of mainte-
nance and important operation tips. Please ensure the power and charger is disconnected
before operation and undergoing the following steps. Do not proceed if the power is
turned on or the battery is being charged.
PRECAUTIONS BEFORE CLEANING
• Ensure the power and the charger wire is disconnected.
• With a soft cloth wipe clean the Hoverboard.
• The Hoverboard is IPX4 classed and is water resistant. Daily cleaning is recommended
to prolong the life of your Hoverboard.
• Do not use high powered cleaning machines, or soak the Hoverboard in liquid in order
to clean.
• Avoid water or other liquids seeping into the Hoverboard. Doing so can cause permanent
damage to the internal electronics.
STORAGE
• Please ensure the Hoverboard is fully charged before storage. Being fully charged will
prevent the battery from permanent damage from not being charged for long periods
of time.
• Please check and charge the battery every three (3) months to maintain proper battery life.
• Don’t charge your Hoverboard if the storage temperature is under 0º C, it can only be
charged in temperature above 5º C.
• Masking or taping the Hoverboard to prevent dust can affect its performance.
• Keep your Hoverboard stored indoors and in a dry, suitable temperature area free
from dust and dirt.
• Avoid opening the Hoverboard. The only suitable time to open the Hoverboard is
during battery replacement. Please remember that the Battery lifetime is between
250–300 charge cycles; then we recommend replacing the battery. Please contact
your nearest Rusta location for help in replacing the battery.
