battery is low and needs to be charged. If the indicator is red and beeping, it means
the battery is depleted and needs to be charged immediately. Continued riding of your
Hoverboard in this depleted state risks the safety and longevity of the battery and it is
not recommended to use the Hoverboard until the battery is fully charged again.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Please read the following operating instructions to learn and practice safe driving and
usage of your Hoverboard.
DRIVING PRACTICE
1. Place the Hoverboard on the ground and turn the power ON. The battery level
indicator light will turn green to show that it is fully charged.
2. While standing behind the Hoverboard, place one foot on the pedal pad. The Balance Level
Indicator will light up in green when the Hoverboard is balanced. Gently place your other
foot on the opposite foot pad. When stationary and balanced on each foot pad, keep your
whole body relaxed with your knees locked, hips forward and your head up. Standing
straight up will give you better control of the Hoverboard and it’s use.
3. Keeping proper balance and center of gravity on the Hoverboard will keep it
stationary. By shifting your center of gravity with the whole body (think of being
connected to a large pole and you can only lean the body as a single unit) in small
increments forwards or backwards, the Hoverboard will respond by moving forwards
or backwards itself. Remember that the body movement shouldn’t be too large as this
will increase the risk for loss of control of the Hoverboard.
4. Turning the Hoverboard. The easiest way to turn is by maintaining the proper align-
ment of the lower body, and by turning the upper body slightly in the direction you
wish to turn. Doing so will result in a natural shifting of the balance and your feet
will increase weight on the foot pedals enabling a turn. You will learn that by slightly
turning towards the right will increase the pressure (tilt) of the left foot indicating to
the Hoverboard the direction of travel. Slightly turning the upper body to the left will
increase the pressure (tilt) on the right foot indicting a turn towards the left.
This motion is very much like skiing.
5. Stepping off the Hoverboard. Slow down and stop, find your balance. With a single
foot, step back and off the Hoverboard. Maintain your balance and when you are
steady on the ground, remove your other foot.
