INFORMATION ABOUT HAZARDOUS WASTE

Used products should be handled separately from

household waste. They should be taken for recycling in

accordance with local rules for waste management.

NOTE! During toasting, you can also observe the toasting colour. If it is satisfactory,

press the Cancel button to cancel the operation at any time. Never lift the carriage

handle to cancel toasting.

6.  If the bread has been taken out of the refrigerator: set the colour setting to your

desired colour. Press the carriage handle down until it clicks into place, then press
the

DEFROST button

. The defrost indicator will be illuminated and your bread will be

toasted to the desired colour.

7.  If you want to warm cold toasted bread, fi rstly press the

REHEAT button

. The Reheat

indicator button will be illuminated. Then lower the carriage handle until it clicks into
place. In this mode the toasting time is fi xed, so once the toast is ready, the carriage
handle will automatically pop up and end the reheating process.

CAUTION

•  Remove all protective wrappings prior to toasting.
•  If toaster starts to smoke,

Press CANCEL button to stop toasting immediately.

•  Avoid toasting the food with extremely runny ingredients such as butter.
•  Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots without unplugging the toaster

from the electrical outlet fi rst. Take care not to damage the internal mechanism or
heating elements when removing bread.

•  The bread slot is only applicable for toasting regular bread slice. Toast irregular bread

or round bread on the toast rack.

•  In order to achieve uniform color, we recommend waiting at least 30 seconds between

each toasting so that the color control can reset automatically.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1.  Before cleaning, unplug from the appliance and let the appliance cool down completely.
2.  Wipe the outside with soft dry cloth. Never use metal polish.
3.  Pull out crumb tray at bottom of toaster and empty it. If toaster is used frequently,

accumulated bread crumbs should be removed at least once a week. Make sure the
crumb tray is completely closed before using the toaster again.

4.  When not in use or storage, the power cord may be twisted under the bottom of toaster.
