SPREADER SETTINGS
Materials used with the seed spreader have speci
fi
c settings
based on the quantity to be spread. It is recommended
to set the seed spreader to the lowest setting for smaller
quantities, and increase to a higher setting for larger
quantities.
The following are the settings for the seed spreader:
Setting 0: 0 cm (closed)
Setting 1: 0.5 cm
recommended for fine grass seeds
Setting 2: 1 cm
recommended for coarse grass seeds
Setting 3: 1.5 cm
recommended for light fertilizer
Setting 4: 2 cm
recommended for heavy fertilizer
Setting 5: 2.5 cm (fully open)
recommended for deicers
TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE

Stop the product,
remove the battery, and allow both to
cool before storing or transporting
■
Clean all foreign
material from the product. Store it in a
cool, dry, and well-ventilated place that is inaccessible
to children. For extra safety, store the battery separately
from the seed spreader. Keep away from corrosive
agents such as garden chemicals and de-icing salts.
Do not store outdoors.
■
For transportation in a vehicle,
secure the product
against movement or falling to prevent injury to persons
or damage to the product.
TRANSPORTING LITHIUM BATTERIES
Transport the battery in accordance with local and national
provisions and regulations.
Follow all special requirements on packaging and labelling
when transporting batteries by a third party. Ensure that
no batteries can come in contact with other batteries
or conductive materials while in transport by protecting
exposed connectors with insulating, non-conductive caps
or tape. Do not transport batteries that are cracked or
leaking. Check with the forwarding company for further
advice.
MAINTENANCE
WARNING
Use only original manufacturer’s replacement parts,
accessories, and attachments. Failure to do so can
cause possible injury, contribute to poor performance,
and may void your warranty.
WARNING
Servicing requires extreme care and knowledge
and should be performed only by a quali
fi
ed service
technician. For service, bring the product to an
authorised service centre. When servicing, use only
identical replacement parts.

Remove the battery before adjusting, maintaining, or
cleaning the product.
■
Keep the product dry, clean, and free from dirt and dust.
■
Do not use water to clean the seed spreader.
■
After each use, clean the body and handles of the
product with a soft, dry cloth.
■
Check all nuts, bolts, and screws at frequent intervals
for proper tightness to ensure the product is in safe
working condition. Any part that is damaged should be
properly repaired or replaced by an authorised service
centre.
■
You may only make adjustments and repairs described
in this manual. For other repairs, contact an authorised
service agent.
CLEARING A BLOCKAGE

To remove a blockage, press and release the on/off
trigger several times to clear the blockage.
■
To remove jammed seeds from the dispersion wheel,
remove the battery, pull and push the distribution
adjustment lever, and rotate the dispersion wheel until
the seeds come out.
