Fig. 8

TO INSTALL THE BATTERY PACK

See Figure 7.

Make sure the trigger is not in the locked-on position.

Place  the  battery  pack  into  the  battery  port.  Slide  the

battery pack into the sprayer.

Make sure the latches on each side of the battery pack

slide into place and the battery pack is secured in the
sprayer before beginning operation.

NOTE:

The  battery  pack  should  be  recharged  after

approximately 5 hours of use to reduce the possibility of

damage.  Repeated  deep  discharge  of  the  battery  may
decrease storage capacity and battery life.

TO REMOVE THE BATTERY PACK

See Figure 7.

Depress the latches on the side of the battery pack.

  Remove the battery pack.

FILLING THE TANK

See Figure 8.

WARNING:

Always follow the chemical manufacturer’s instructions
printed on their product labeling for use, cleaning, and
storage. Clean thoroughly after each use, following the
instructions in the

Maintenance

 section of this manual.

Chemicals should be stored out of the reach of children.
Failure to do so may result in serious personal injury.

Liquids  to  be  sprayed  must  be  as  thin  as  water.  Thicker

liquids will not spray properly.
Do not overfill the tank.
To mix a spray solution in the tank:

  Remove the battery pack.

Unscrew  the  measuring  cap  and  remove  it  from  the

tank.

Fill  the  tank  with  the  desired  amount  of  water  (up  to

1 gallon).

Measure  the  recommended  amount  of  liquid.  The  cap

may be used for measuring up to 4 oz.

Carefully pour the liquid into the tank.

Rinse the measuring cap with clean water.

Screw the cap back onto the sprayer, making sure it is

tightened securely.

  Reinstall the battery pack.

Spray solutions may be premixed and poured into the sprayer,
using a funnel if needed.

NOTE:

If using a measuring container other than the cap, or if

using a funnel to fill the tank, be sure to thoroughly clean and
rinse these items after use. If premixing the spray solution,
rinse the container used for mixing.
