OPERATION

WARNING.

Do not allow familiarity with

products to make you careless.
Remember that a careless fraction of a
second is sufficient to inflict severe injury.

WARNING.

Always wear eye protection

with side shields marked to comply with
ANSI Z87.1. Failure to do so could result
in objects being thrown into your eyes
resulting in possible serious injury.

WARNING.

Do not use any attachments

or accessories not recommended by the
manufacturer of this product. The use of
attachments or accessories not
recommended can result in serious
personal injury.

NOTE.

Do not use in an environment that is dusty

or otherwise contaminated. Using the air
compressor in this type of environment may cause
damage to the unit.

NOTE.

The wiring to a receptacle and the length of

any extension cords being used play an important
role in the operation of this product. Wiring
intended for lights cannot properly carry an air
compressor motor, and wire that is heavy enough
for a short distance may be insufficient for a greater
distance. Before using this product, verify your
receptacle is wired appropriately for air compressor
use and the length and gauge of any extension
cord used is sufficient to carry the current of the air
compressor.

LOCATING THE AIR COMPRESSOR

This compressor should be positioned on a stable,
flat surface (or one with a maximum inclination of
15º). Ensure that it is completely stable.

Do not cover or box in the compressor. Always
position it with good all round ventilation.

The compressor must be used in the horizontal
position only, resting on its rubber feet.

MOVING THE AIR COMPRESSOR

Before moving the compressor, switch off and
disconnect it from the mains power supply.

Always use the handle

Do not lift by (or put strain on) air taps, valves
or hoses.

Take care when moving the compressor to
avoid damaging the valves or fittings.

SWITCHING ON AND OFF

WARNING.

Switching On & Off must be

done using the On/Off switch mounted
on the compressor, Fig.3. Switching the

compressor Off at the mains supply can damage
the motor and will invalidate the guarantee.

Before switching on the power supply to the
compressor check that the On/Off switch is in the
Off position (non-depressed).

Connect the compressor to a suitable 16A mains
supply. Switch on the compressor by pressing the
On/Off switch to the ON (depressed) position. The
compressor will now start.

When you have finished using the compressor,
press the On/Off switch and disconnect the power
cord from the mains supply. Run the accessory
connected dry until there is no more compressed
air in the hose.

Always wait at least 10 seconds from when the
compressor has been switched off before restarting
this.

WARNING.

This compressor is suitable

for minor blowing and dust removal jobs.
It is NOT suitable for prolonged use, for
treating large surfaces and for removing
dust from badly-caked areas.

INFLATION GUN INFORMATION

The inflation gun is used for inflating tyres, rubber
dinghies, air beds, footballs and other objects

Pressure level: 1 - 4 bar

WARNING.

Do not direct the jet of

compressed air towards people or
animals.
