Cars without telematics unit in the centre of
the torsion compartment but where the
bracket is fitted by the REC:
Fit the kit's fibre
optic cable (between the units in the bracket) in
position 2 in the kit's connector.

Fit the small
connector in the DVD player's connector.

Cars without telematics unit in the centre of
the torsion compartment but where the
bracket is fitted by the REC:
Run the kit's fibre
optic cable (DVD player - torsion compartment)
forward along the existing wiring harness. Secure
with cable ties but do not tighten them completely
as a further 2 cables shall be secured.

bracket is fitted by the REC:
Remove the
protective cover from the fibre optic cable's con-
nection (DVD player - torsion compartment) and
fit it in position 2 in the small connector inside
the torsion compartment.
Proceed to step 75.
