5. Insert grass bag hanger onto handle.
6. Hook the back of the grass
catcher onto grass bag hanger.
Stop Engine Before removing
or installing discharge chute,
grass catcher, or guard in place.

chute, grass catcher, or guard in place.
Removing the Grass Bag
1. Unhook back of grass catcher from the grass
bag hanger.
2. Grab ahold of Grass Bag Handle and lift
straight up.
3. Unzip the grass catcher to empty.
Stopping the Engine
To stop the engine, Release the blade control bar and
wait for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.
Important: When releasing the blade control bar
both the blade and engine should stop within 3
seconds. If they both do not stop properly discontinue
use of the machine and contact an authorized Service
Dealer.
Floating Handle Feature
This is a unique feature that decreases operator
fatigue. With only the bottom shoulder bolts installed
on the handle, the handle will be in Floating Handle
mode.
To obtain floating mode position Lift the handle slightly
upward. In this position, the mower will move up and
down over rough terrain however operator hands and
arms will not move.
If operator does not desire this feature insert the two
1/4inch x 1 bolts, washers and locking nuts in the
corresponding holes above the shoulder bolts, securing
handle and handle mount in place.
Installing the Grass Bag
1. Shut engine off.
2. Install plastic bagging chute. Lock chute by
pushing back on chute making sure the shoulder
bolts on deck lock in holes on bagging chute.
3. Insert wing bolt through front of bagging chute
into deck.
4 .Insert bag on plastic discharge chute, make sure
bag is in the locked position.
Note: For safety engine will not start unless bag
is in locked position..
