CLEANING
To avoid serious personal injury, always stop the engine and
allow it to cool before cleaning or maintaining the unit.
Use a small brush or a soft cloth to clean the outside of the
unit. Wipe any remaining moisture from the product.
Do not use strong detergents. Household cleaners that
contain aromatic oils such as pine and lemon, and solvents
such as kerosene, can damage plastic.
STORAGE
1. Allow the engine to cool before storing.
2. Inspect the unit for any loose or damaged parts. Repair
or replace damaged parts and tighten loose screws,
nuts or bolts. Replace only with identical parts for
anything damaged, broken, or worn.
3. Drain up fuel before long-term storage: Remove the fuel
tank cap, tip the unit and drain the fuel into an approved
container. Reinstall the fuel tank cap. Start the engine
and allow it to run until it stalls. This ensures that all fuel
has been drained from the carburetor. Allow the engine
to cool.
4. Thoroughly clean the unit especially the air filter.
5. Store the unit in a dry, well-ventilated place away from
smoke, open flames, or sparks. Store the unit out of
reach of children and lock up it to prevent unauthorized
use or damage.
6. Drain up oil after long-term storage. Change the oil
before use.
NOTE:
At the beginning of the next season, use only fresh fuel. Do
not use fuel that has been stored for more than 30 days.
Dispose of old fuel and oil according to federal, state and
