Various functions
Feed-back from the motor starter
UNISAB S-Control must have feed-back
from the motor starter (see the wiring dia-
gram) via a potential-free switch.
If the UNISAB S-Control does not receive
feed-back within 15 seconds from giving
the start signal, an alarm will be indicated --
AL1 will flash rapidly in the display until
the
RE-
SET
key is pressed.
If the feed-back cuts out during operation,
the motor will stop immediately.
Connecting a thermistor
UNISAB S-Control can be connected di-
rectly to the thermistors in the electric motor
of the compressor.
The connection must be made as shown in
the wiring diagram.
In an alarm situation AL3 will flash rapidly
in the display. The display is cleared by
pressing the
RE-
SET
key. However if the cause
of the alarm has not been corrected, the
alarm reappears after approx. 60 seconds.
Set points no. 1/no. 2
This input can be used to change between
two sets of suction pressure/brine tempera-
ture set points -- or alternatively, two current
limits. Please refer to the chapter entitled
Configuration
for further details.
Oil flow switch
If the oil flow switch is de-energized for
more than 10 sec. during operation, an
alarm will be indicated; AL4 will flash ra-
pidly in the display. This alarm function will
not be activated during the first 20 seconds
after start-up.
If this switch is not activated within 600
seconds after prelubrication begins, the
alarm will be activated.
External start permission (normal
stop)
This function only applies in
automatic
operation
. It is not possible to start the
compressor unless the input is energized.
Please refer to the wiring diagram. If the
compressor is in operation, the capacity is
reduced to 0%, if the input is de-energized.
The compressor stops when the timer
delay
before stop
has expired.
When automatic operation is selected and
the input is not energized, the
Time
LED
will flash.
External start permission (instant
stop)
This function applies in both
manual
and
automatic
operation. It is not possible to
start the compressor unless the input is ener-
gized. If the input is de-energized while the
compressor is in operation, the compressor
will stop immediately. When the input is not
energized, the
Time
LED will flash.
Oil cooling
HLI/BLI oil cooling is activated and
stopped by means of a solenoid valve. The
relay, which activates the valve, is coupled
