1 General
Information
This manual is an important part of the equipment and is aimed at
personnel who operate and maintain the TOPAS light. It contains
important information about the light and serves to safeguard users
and the environment.
The manual and all other instructions needed to operate and mount
the TOPAS light (e.g. regulations and information from professional
associations) must be made available to all who operate or mount it.
It is each user’s duty to familiarize themselves with the contents of
the manual and adhere exactly to all instructions relating to safety.
In addition, the rules and regulations governing the prevention of
accidents must be observed for the operating site being used.
The most important safety instructions are summarized in Chapter 4.
Additional information in other chapters is clearly identified with the
corresponding symbols.
This manual must be preserved carefully, and kept in a place near to
the TOPAS light so that it is easily accessible to operators.
2 Agreed
use
The TOPAS lights were developed exclusively for professional
operation and must be erected and used by qualified stage and
studio staff according to BGV C1 or corresponding local regulations.
The lights are designed for studio operation only and only with the
permitted fluorescent tubes. Outside operation is not permitted.
Operation other than or in addition to that described above is
deemed not agreed to.
