OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Selector switch SA1 is used to enable the auxiliary control panel. At the same time, it disables the keys of the control
keyboard used to turn on the drums (step, jog and normal run controls) if the control keyboard mode selector is turned
to the MAN position. If, on the other hand, the mode selector is turned to AUT, the cycle start button is disabled.
However, the stop buttons (both the ones that stop the drum motor and the ones that stop the automatic cycle) remain
activated on both control panels.
The functions of the emergency stop buttons and RESET buttons are exactly the same as for those located on the
machine control keyboard.
The STOP button, which is always enabled regardless of the position of selector switch SA1, stops the automatic cycle
(if in progress) and/or stops the drum motor (if rotating).
The START button, which is only enabled if selector SA1 is in the position to enable the auxiliary control panel, performs
the following functions;
- with the mode selector turned to MAN, this button runs the drum motor in jog mode (clockwise direction of rotation).
- with the mode selector turned to AUT, this button starts the automatic cycle (see “selecting the automatic cycle”).
