CABLE RECOMMENDATIONS
Cable types like data / telecom / signal (single core) with areas between 0.1-0.2 mm may not be used as power
supply to the lock.
Warranty is invalid if installation instructions are not followed. See table below.
Recommended minimum cable area between the power supply–control unit-lock cases (total length)
N.B.
It is essential that the power supply to the control unit has a correct dimensioned cable, this to avoid a voltage drop
that interferes with the function of the lock.
At common supply of several locks / access control / reader / centers and the like, the total
power consumption is taken into account when calculating the cable area.

RECOMMENDATIONS WHEN INSTALLING MOTOR LOCKS
Recommendations when installing motor locks
• Read and follow the installation instructions.
• In cases where double cylinder is not used, a magnetic thumb turn should be used. This is to ensure
that the position of the cylinder will not block the deadbolt.
• Motor locks should to the greatest extent be used electrically for best performance.
Manual locking/unlocking with a key should therefore be minimized.
• Maintenance e.g. adjustment and lubrication
should only be performed by a trained professional.
