7.4 Adjusting automatic wheel locking
The lift is equipped with an automatic wheel lock (11). The wheel
lock consists of a wire that is pressed down by an adjustable wire
pusher. The wire pusher (9) is located under the platform floor, see
picture below. After a period of use, the wire may become stretched
and the wire pusher may need to be adjusted downwards (the wire
pusher does not push down the wire sufficiently to disengage the
wheel lock). This can be solved by loosening the two allen screws
and adjusting the wire pusher down.
DO NOT adjust the wire pusher too far, as the wire may tighten
too hard and fall off. Adjust the cable pusher down in 2 mm
increments, and lower the platform to its lowest position after
each step, to check that the wheel lock is deactivated and the
lift can be moved.
