4. MACHINE SAFETY
The machine is marked with a CE mark. This means that it is
designed, manufactured and described in accordance with EU
Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC (see also page 16).
4.1 Requirements for personnel & safety regulations
To avoid personal injury and machine damage, operator and
operating personnel must be specially instructed or trained
according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Operator and
operating personnel may only handle the parts on which they have
been instructed or trained. All controls and buttons must only be
operated by hand, ie they must never be activated with aids of any
kind, unless otherwise provided. The operator must never leave the
lift unattended so that unauthorized persons can be injured.
• The lift may only be used by personnel who have competence
regarding the lift and may only be used when the user has read
and understood the content of the current user description.
• The lift may only be used for the predetermined purpose and
only with the fitted protective devices. All applicable safety
regulations must be observed.
• Daily maintenance work may only be performed by personnel
who have competence regarding the lift.
• Electrical work may only be performed by a trained professional.
• Work on current-carrying objects is not permitted.
• Modifications, repairs and alterations to the lift may only be
carried out in accordance with current safety regulations.
• Only original spare parts are allowed for repairs.
Make sure that the working area around the lift is protected from
people or other equipment.
Never push or pull objects with the lift.
Lock the lift when not in use to prevent unauthorized use.
Lock the swivel wheels when the lift is parked.
