Operation & Maintenance Manual
Before Use:
• Before inflating, ensure there are no hazards in your working area (broken
glass, metal screws, thorns etc). The product is not fragile, but taking care will
ensure a long service life for the product.
• Check the valves for grit and foreign bodies - clean as necessary.
• Inflate/top up product to ensure it is at working pressure using supplied hand
pump or a compressed air cylinder with our recommended inflation kit/
regulator assembly (Product Code: SAF38038).
• The product is fitted with pressure relief valves (PRV’s) to all chambers. Ideally
for optimum performance the product should be inflated to the correct
pressure, which will be reached when the PRV’s start to “Blow Off”. This will
also ensure the product has the maximum buoyancy possible.
• When fully inflated, check the product all over for signs of wear and tear and
repair if necessary (See notes on repair of inflatables).
• When in use, do not leave in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time.
If this is unavoidable, it is advisable to slightly reduce the pressure in the
chambers by gently releasing air from the C7 inflation valves. This can be
achieved by undoing the protective cover and placing a finger on the central
spigot and gently push open the valve to reduce the pressure.
Manual Inflation:
