Sensitivity
The welding helmet’s sensitivity to light can
be variably set using the Sensitivity button
(6).
If the welding current is low, set the
Sensitivity button to a high position
(towards HI) so that the welding helmet can
register a weak stable electric arc.
If the welding current is high, set the
Sensitivity button to a low position (towards
LO) to avoid interference.
Delay time
The welding helmet’s delay time can be
variably set using the Delay button (7).
If the welding current is high and the light
from the molten bath is very strong, adjust
the Delay button to a high position (towards
MAX) to avoid the glass being aff ected by
the light from the molten bath.
If you are spot welding, set the Delay button
to a low position (towards MIN) to increase
the work effi ciency.
When the button is in the centre position,
the setting is suitable for most welding
tasks.
Use
Remove the protective � lm from both sides
of the visor (4). Check that there is no dirt on
the sensor on the front of the visor.
Place the welding helmet on the head.
Adjust the neckband (1) and headband (2),
so the helmet sits securely on the head.
Adjust the angle of the visor using the knob
(3) to ensure good vision.
Adjust the level of dimming using the
button (5) to ensure it is suitable for the
current task.
The higher the number the button is
adjusted to, the darker the visor will be.
Cleaning
Wipe the welding helmet with a well-wrung
damp cloth. Do not use harsh or abrasive
detergents, as these may damage the visor
and helmet.
When not in use, the welding helmet should
be stored in a dark, dry location.
