Mark the template hole locations on the cabinet door/
drawer. Remove the template and predrill holes with
a 1/16” (1.5mm) drill bit.

Secure latch tightly with screws.
NOTE: Cabinet door/drawer should not open more
than 2” (5.08cm).

dotted line is flush with the front edge of cabinet
opening. Tape template to cabinet (Figure 2).

Close the cabinet door/drawer and mark the outer
edges of the template on the cabinet door/drawer
and top edge on the template (Figure 3). Remove the
template.

11. Predrill holes with X” drill bit.

positioning only. You must secure catch and latch
to cabinets and drawers with enclosed screws.

opened about 1.5˝. Mark latch position. Remove
positioning tape backing and stick in position.
Check alignment of catch and latch prior to
attaching with screws. After checking alignment,
secure both catch and latch tightly with screws.

An alternative method to mount these cabinet latches is to
mount the catch on the side of the cabinet and then mount the latch
sideways on the edge of the cabinet door or drawer.

proper adult supervision. Discontinue use when child becomes old
enough to defeat it. Toxic and dangerous substances, as well as
sharp-edged or pointed objects, should always be placed “high up”
or made otherwise inaccessible to small children.
