Removing Seat Pad for Cleaning
You must remove the harness system to remove the
pad, see section C-7.
Remove Elastic Straps
(on select models)
From the back and under
the shell, release the elastic
straps.
NOTE:
The positions of the
elastic straps may vary by
model.

Remove Buckle from Child
Restraint
From the front, pull buckle strap
free from shell and pad.

DO NOT remove the headrest pad. Spot clean
only with warm sudsy water.

Insert Metal Retainer
Through Shell and Pad
Locate the buckle strap’s metal
retainer under the shell.
Rotate buckle strap’s metal
retainer, then insert metal
retainer up through the shell
and pad.

From the back, in the fully
upright position, locate the
lower harness guides that
are between the bottom of
the seat and base

Insert a flat head screw driver
into the hole in the base
