Programming the code
The safe is equipped with a user code with factory preset 159. It is strongly
recommended to change this code before using the safe.
Programming the user code
Door position: open and unlocked.
1.
Open the door and press the reset button
on the back side of the door. The yellow
LED will light up.
2.
Enter the new user code (3-8 digits) and
press to confirm.
The lock
will beep 2 times if the new code
is accepted.
If the yellow LED flashes and the locks
beep 3 times the new code is not accepted.
Repeat programming the user code.
Remark:
Verify the new user code 3 times with the door
in open position.
Open the safe with the emergency key
For your convenience, we have engineered a manual override system for your safe. If
you forget your code or the battery has run flat, you can still open your safe manually.
Gently turn the keypad clockwise until the keypad will be detached. An override key hole
is located behind the keypad. Insert the emergency key and open the lock.
Operate the door handle to unlock the boltwork and open the door.
Remark
Store the emergency key on a safe place outside the safe. The emergency key is
needed to open the safe when the batteries are flat or if you have forgotten your user
code!
