Time Setup
General
•
Date format: select from MONTH-DAY-YEAR (MM/DD/
YYYY), DAY-MONTH-YEAR (DD/MM/YYYY), or YEAR-
MONTH-DAY (YYYY-MM-DD) date format
•
Time format: select 12 or 24 hour time format
•
Time Zone: select how many hours the local time zone is
deviated from GMT. (In the United States, Eastern is “-5”,
Central is “-6”, Mountain is “-7”, and Pacific is “-8”.)
Time Sync
•
Date/Time: tap these fields to manually enter the current
date and time of the HVR
•
GPS: select this option to automatically syncronize the
date and time from the GPS signal
•
Center Server: select this option to automatically
syncronize the date and time to an OMS server when the
HVR connects
•
NTP sync: select this option to automatically syncronize
the date and time to an official time-keeping website
when the HVR has an available internet connection;
select from several predefined websites, or select
User-
Defined
to enter your own
DST
•
Enable: select this option to enable Daylight Savings Time
(DST) automatic time adjustment
•
Offset: select a one or two hour DST adjustment
•
Mode: select Week to define the DST period by a specific
weeks in the calendar; select Date to manually enter an
exact date
After making any entries, tap
Save
at the bottom of the screen.
