Startup & Shutdown
The Startup & Shutdown page
confi gures conditions when the
NVR can automatically start and
shut down.
Startup
Select the
Enable startup
due to acceleration
option to
automatically start the NVR and
record an event (for the time
entered in the
Recording duration
fi eld) when the vehicle begins
moving.
Enter the maximum force in
g’s (between 0.1 and 16) that
can applied before the NVR
automatically starts up in the
Accelerometer RMS
fi eld.
Select the
Enable Ignition Boot
and Record
option to allow the NVR
to continue booting up and then
record (for the time entered in the Recording Duration fi eld)
even if the ignition is turned off before the specifi ed time.
Startup Delay
When the
Enable Temperature check
option is selected,
the NVR checks the internal temperature before starting up.
If the temperature is below that entered in the
Minimum
Temperature Threshold
fi eld, it waits the amount of time
entered in the
Duration
fi eld before starting up.
Shutdown
Enter the time (up to 300 minutes) that the RoadRecorder
7000 NVR will record after experiencing a shutdown event in
the
Continue recording for
fi eld.
Offl oad Settings
Enter the amount of time (in minutes) that the RoadRecorder
7000 NVR will wait to establish communication with a host
in the
Wait for host to offl oad
fi eld. This fi eld is important in
wireless installations and should be set to allow enough time
for wireless communications.
Select the frequency at which the NVR sends pings to
a SafetyNet CMS wireless network in the
Safety Net
Announce
fi eld.
Click Save Changes to save changed entries.
