Notice d’instruction TOURELLE F400-120
Refer to the marking plate on the equipment
- The equipment’s characteristics, power, current, speed of rotation, voltage and frequency are marked on the
descriptive label.
- The sound level of these machines measured at a distance of 8 m in a free hemispherical field, is less than 70 dB
(A).
Check the condition of the packaging and contents at the time of delivery.
Any reservations should be reported to the shipper within 48 h.
Before being shipped, our equipment is tested under power to check current ratings and that the roof fan is perfectly
balanced.
Any disassembly or re-assembly of the fan or motor is entirely at the installer’s liability.
The equipment must be mounted HORIZONTALLY on its base, using the Ø14 mm fixing holes provided for the
purpose at each corner of the base plate.
NB. An inclination of
≤
6° is acceptable.
- To use the equipment with a voltage regulator, starter, frequency controller or electrical control panel, refer to the
instructions supplied with these devices.
- It’s obligatory to install a lockable security switch for each speed. Moreover, electric cables must be insulated of
contact with metallic parts.
- It is the installer’s responsibility to fulfil these obligations. We can supply the appropriate parts as options
- Check that the fan turns in the direction indicated by the arrow on the driving tray. Ensure this is true of both speeds
on two-speed motors.
-Smoke removal roof fans must be powered using a CR1_C1 high temperature cable.
- When connecting the unit, follow the manufacturer’s wiring indications on the diagram in the terminal box.
- Check that the equipment’s voltage, frequency and number of phases match those available onside
- Access to the motor is gained by removing the top cover.
Cut the electrical power and wait for the complete stop of elements before intervening.
Maintenance and servicing
IMPORTANT! Always condemn the power supply using the nearby padlockable switch (supplied)
-The IP55 motors are equipped with ready-greased sealed bearings.
-Ensure that the plastic-coated motor parts (e.g. motor seal) are not liable to be damaged by cleaning products.
-Should the fan unit be removed from its four mountings for handling reasons, ensure that the mountings do not hit
or snag the turbine which would certainly be unbalanced as a result. Belt tension and wear should be checked
periodically. Only qualified personnel are to carry out maintenance work on the equipment.
