Troubleshooting
Problem 4: The Wi-Fi signal drops.
Check to see if another device is using the 2.4 GHz band or a material such as glass, water,
or metal are causing interference. If so, reposition your router away from the item. Refer to
Router Positioning on page 7.
Problem 5: Cannot connect wireless device to router.
Try one of the following solutions:
1.
Ensure that your device's Wi-Fi is enabled and that the Wi-Fi light is green. If it is not,
refer to page 17 for information on how to enable your Wi-Fi.
2.
Ensure that your device supports WPA2 encryption. If not, refer to page 19 to change the
encryption mode.
3.
Verify that you are connecting to the correct network by checking the SSID (name of
network) and its password.
Problem 6: Locked out of the Web GUI.
1.
Refer to page 44 on how to restore factory defaults on your router.
Then to log in to the web GUI, you will use the default username and password listed on
the router label.

Refer too page 16 to change your local access password.
