Standby
The power saving time allows you to configure the idle time after which your machine automatically switches over to
power saving mode. In this mode, your machine's power consumption is minimal (less than 0.5 W) the display is off,
and only the green LED flashes. Pressing a button or inserting a document in the feeder wakes up your machine: it will
be available again after an initialization time of twenty seconds.
Depending on your machine's user profile, you can, for example, set the power saving time as follows:

15 minutes: you use your machine occasionally and you want to consume the least possible power.
2
5 hours: you use your machine every day; it will switch to standby mode after your day's work.
3
25 hours: you use your machine intensively every day and want it to be always available immediately. In this
configuration, your machine switches over standby mode on weekends.
CAUTION
1 - Your machine will not go into standby mode if there is a fault or a sheet is present in the feeder.
2 - To reduce power consumption regardless of the power saving time, the display of your machine
is no longer lit after an idle time of 10 minutes. Pressing a button or inserting a document in the feed-
er will turn it on instantly.
