6. Video recordings
You can simultaneously:
•
record 3 programs and watch another program,
•
record 4 programs and watch any of them.
In the same way, you can simultaneously:
•
watch a program in deferred mode while recording 3 other programs,
•
watch a recorded program and record up to 4 programs.
You can record TV channels and Radio channels. The operations described in this section apply to both
modes.
6.1 Recording programs
To record a program (TV or Radio), just press the
RECORD
key.
You can perform this action not only while watching the
desired program, but also after selecting the desired program
from the zapping banner, the TV guide or the Search feature.
•
The cell of the program to record becomes red in the
zapping banner and the TV guide.
•
If the program is
currently broadcast
, the recorder will by default record it until its announced end
time.
•
If you
have been watching the program
for a certain time (2 hours maximum)
without changing
channels
, the receiver will record it from the moment it started or you started watching it until its
announced end time.
•
If the program is to be
broadcast at a later time or day
, the receiver will automatically book it, and
will record it when it is broadcast.
•
If the program is
part of a series
, the receiver will ask you if you want to record the single episode or
all announced forthcoming episodes.
•
If the recording is
conflicting with another recording
(scheduled at the same time), the receiver will
ask you to resolve the schedule conflict.
You can then change channel or put the receiver in standby mode without the recording being affected.
Note
To record a subchannel, tune to the main channel, select the desired subchannel
from the options banner then start recording by pressing the
RECORD
key.
If you switch channel during the recording, the receiver will not retain the
selection of the subchannel but will record instead the main channel.
Note
Once a recording is launched, you can no longer rewind the program before the
start time.
