If the program is parental rated, the recording will automatically be PIN-locked. You will need to enter the
parental control PIN to play it from the Recording list (see
Viewing and Managing your Recordings
).
To stop a recording, tune to the channel being recorded or select the program cell from the zapping
banner, the TV guide or the Search feature and press the
STOP
key. A message asking you to
confirm the cancellation appears.
6.2 Recording programs manually
When you record a program or book a recording, the receiver automatically retrieves the broadcast
information of the selected program and saves it for recording purposes.
When the program you want to record contains little or no broadcast information, the receiver
automatically displays a manual recording screen. You can also directly access this feature from the
Record Settings menu (see
).
You can then manually set the recording options for the desired program:
1.
If required, select the channel to record.
2.
If required, enter the recording date.
3.
Enter the recording start and end time.
4.
Select the recording repetition:
•
Once
: only once at the scheduled time.
•
Daily
: at the scheduled time, every day and every week.
•
Monday-Friday only
: at the scheduled time, every day
from Monday to Friday and every week.
•
Weekly
: once a week at the scheduled time.
5.
To protect this recording against automatic deletion to free up space, set LOCK to YES.

Confirm the schedule by selecting SAVE and pressing
OK
.
Manual bookings appear in the recording list with a clock icon. Manual bookings with repeat are saved in
a specific folder, which by default is named after the manual booking.
You can modify manual bookings at any time in the RECORDINGS menu.

You can customise in your Record Settings the recording mode to be applied
by default and the guard time to add to your manual recordings (see
).
