9. Using the Universal Remote Control
The remote control supplied with the receiver is a universal remote control that you can program to
control your television set (see the Brand code list to check brand compatibility).
Once programed, use the
TV
key on your remote control to switch from receiver mode to TV
mode: the LED blinks briefly and will blink each time you send an instruction to your TV set.
The main available controls are:

Standby/Wake up
•
Turn volume up/down, Mute
•
Change channels
•
Navigation arrows,
OK
confirmation
•
Access TV menu (
MENÜ
key)
Press the
EXIT
key to switch back to receiver mode.
9.1 Programming the Universal Remote Control
Before you start, look up in the Brand code list the 4-digit code(s) for your TV set brand. You will need it
during the programming procedure.
1.
Turn on the TV.
2.
Press and hold key

and key
PROGRAMM
together for a minimum of 3
seconds, until the LED blinks twice.
3.
Release the keys and enter the 4-digit code for the TV-brand or the 4-digit code for the universal code-
set by pressing each digit key in sequence within 10 seconds after release of the previous key. With the
first 3 digits, the LED will give a short blink. At the fourth digit, the LED will blink two times and remain on.
4.
Press the
STANDBY
key continuously until the TV turns off.
5.
When the TV turns off, release the
STANDBY
key.
6.
Press the
TV
key for 3 seconds to confirm the code.
Press the
TV
key to control your TV.
If you cannot find your TV in the codelist please use code number “0000” in step 3 and press STAND BY
button until TV turns off. This will trigger a search through all codes available in the remote independent of
the brand and takes some time.
