Procedure for replacing the microswitch powered by the magnet

Loosen the clamping nut
(3)
on the plate
magnet support plate. (Figure 1)
Turn the plat magnet support plate
clockwise till it reaches a vertical po-
sition and tighten the clamping nut

Unscrew the two self-drilling 3/5 hexag-
onal/crosshead screws that secure the
microswitch and remove it

Replace the microswitch
(4)
. The correct
microswitch position is shown by the
position of the clamping holes. Tight-
en the two self-drilling 3/5 hexagonal/
crosshead screws that secure the mi-
croswitch. (Figure 4)

To
RESET
the fi re damper power the
magnet
(1)
and turn the lever
(2)
an-
ti-clockwise till in contact with the
magnet.
1. Check the condition of the
damper.
Before disconnecting the
magnet
(1)
,
if activated
, light-
ly press the lever
(2)
down-
wards.
DISCONNECT
the power
from the magnet.
DEACTIVATE
by turning the
lever
(2)
clockwise until the
damper is closed completely.
Beware of the restoring
force of the spring.

To prevent accidents
it is
advisable to take care around
the lever’s area of operation,
as outlined in the diagram.
