3.1. Connect Audio equipment

For better audio quality, you can connect an external audio device. Your SAILPROOF SP08 tablet is equipped with a com-
posite audio port in the form of a 4-pole TRRS 3.5mm specification and can be connected to a compatible headset.

Safety Warning:

To avoid possible hearing loss, please do not listen at high volume for long periods of time.

3.2. Connect the HDMI display

If you want to use a larger screen for higher resolution, you can connect an external display to your SAILPROOF SP08
tablet. Your SAILPROOF SP08 tablet has an HDMI port, and the HDMI (High-Definition Multimedia Interface) audio/video
interface can transmit uncompressed digital data for true high-definition quality.
In the default state, the connected display will respond.
To switch the display output, please use the Android system tool.

3.3. Battery

When charging, the light is displayed in red. When charging reaches 90%, it becomes green.
When the battery capacity is less than 10%, the light flashes red (once every second).

Battery Guidelines

When using the battery, please try to fully charge the battery and recharge it once. This will prevent damage to the battery.
Batteries are consumables; the following actions will shorten their service life:

•  Charge the battery frequently
•  Use, charge or store batteries in high temperature environments

In order to avoid accelerating the aging of the battery and prolong its service life, the number of charging times should be
minimized, and the internal temperature of the battery should not be constantly raised.

•  Optimally charge the battery in a temperature range of 10°C ~ 30°C (50°F ~ 86°F). - Higher ambient tempera-

tures will cause the battery temperature to rise.

•  Avoid charging the battery in closed cars and hot weather.
•  It is recommended that you do not charge the battery multiple times a day.
•  It is recommended that you charge the battery when the SAILPROOF SP08 is turned off.

When using battery power in an extremely low temperature environment, the operating time may be shortened and the
displayed value of the power may be incorrect. This phenomenon results from the chemical characteristics of the battery.
It is recommended that the proper battery operating temperature be maintained at -10° C ~ 50° C (14° F ~ 122° F).
Do not store the machine for more than six months without charging it.

3.4. Power Adapter

The power adapter is only for your SAILPROOF SP08 tablet. If it is used for other purposes, it may damage the connected
appliances or adapters. The power cord attached to the power adapter is in accordance with the specifications of the
place of purchase. To use this SAILPROOF SP08 tablet abroad, consult your dealer for a suitable power cord.
If you want to unplug the power adapter, you must first unplug the power plug on the wall, and then unplug the power
connector on the tablet, otherwise, the SAILPROOF SP08 tablet and adapter will be damaged by external voltage shock.
When unplugging, do not pull the electric wire, you should pull it out by holding the plug with your hand.
The adapter operates in a voltage range of 100 to 240 V AC.

3.5. Charge with an USB cable

When mains power is not available, it is recommended to use the supplied USB-A cable to DC jack to get the best perfor-
mance. of the charger. Alternatively, the battery can be charged using the USB-c port. Note that the charging time will then
depend on the quality of the cable and the capacity of the charger. Always choose a high quality cable. Some chargers/
cables will limit the load to 0.5 A.
