1. SAFETY WARNING
Before using the appliance for the first time, read this instruction manual
carefully and retain for future reference in order to obtain the best results and
ensure safe use.
Before using the juicer, ensure that the mains voltage corresponds to that
indicated for the appliance.
If the plug provided with the appliance is not compatible with the mains
socket, have this substituted by a qualified technician.
The use of adaptors and/or extension leads is not recommended. If it is
essential to use them, only use single or multiple adaptors and extension
leads which meet current safety standards, ensuring that the power limit
indicated on the adaptor is not exceeded.
After removing the packaging, check that the appliance is in perfect condition.
In case of doubt, contact your nearest service centre.
The packaging, (plastic bags, polystyrene foam, etc.) can constitute a safety
hazard and should be kept out of the reach of children.
This appliance is only for domestic use. Any other use is considered
inappropriate and dangerous.
In case of technical problems, switch off the machine and do not try to repair
it yourself. Use only a manufacturer authorised service centre and always
demand the use of original spare parts. Failure to comply with above-
mentioned conditions could affect the safety of the machine.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its
service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
The manufacturer does not accept responsibility for any damage caused by
incorrect or inappropriate use, or for repairs carried out by unauthorised
personnel. Certain fundamental rules must always be followed in the use of
any electrical appliance.
ESPECIALLY:
Do not touch or pull the electric cable with wet or damp hands or feet.
Never submerge the appliance in water or hold it under a running tap.
Never pull on the cable to unplug the appliance.
Disconnecting the appliance and unplugging the feeding before changing
accessories or close parts which move during use.
Disconnecting the feeding appliance always if it gets unattended and before
its assembly, dismantling or cleaning.
Do not leave the cable hanging over the side of the table or work-surface.
