IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions 

should always be taken including the following:
1. Before connecting the fan, check that the voltage indicated on 

the rating plate corresponds to the mains voltage in your home/

office.
2. The appliance is for household use only.
3. Never leave the fan unattended while it is in use. Always turn 

the product to the OFF position and unplug it from the electrical 

outlet when not in use.
4. Extreme caution is necessary when any fan is used by or near 

children, invalids or elderly person and whenever the fan is left 

operating and unattended.
5. 

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and 

above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental 

capabilities or lack of experience and knowladge if they have 

been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the 

appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. 

Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user 

maintenance shall not be made by children without supervisions.

6. Do not run cord under carpeting and do not cover cord with 

throw rugs, runners or the like. Arrange cord away from traffic 

area and where it will not be tripped over.
7. Unplug from the electrical outlet when not in use, when 

moving the fan from one location to another, before putting on 

or taking off parts and before clearing.
8. Ensure that the fan is switched off from the supply mains 

before removing the guard.
9. Do not operate any appliance, with a damaged cord plug after 

the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped damaged in 

any manner.
10. Do not let the cord hang over the edge or a table or counter, 

or come into contact with hot surfaces.
