1-11. Transporting the Machine
• Always shutdown the engine when transporting the rammer.
• Tighten the fuel tank cap securely and close the fuel cock to prevent fuel from spilling.
• Drain fuel when transporting the rammer over long distances or bad roads.
• Load and unload the rammer in/from a transporting vehicle with two parsons in order to
avoid an accidental drop.
• Hold the handle at its front and rear part to prevent your finger and/or hand from being
caught between the handle and the machine body when lifting up the rammer by holding the
handle.
• Make sure lifting device has enough capacity to hold the
rammer and use the center lifting point when lifting it.
• Always inspect crane lifting cable for wear, damage, or
abuse.
Protect cable from any sharp edge. Do not use if there are
any signs of cut wires, excessive wear, or other detects.
Replace damaged cable immediately to avoid injury or
death.
