Connecting the Camera to the Computer
1. Use the supplied USB cable to connect your camera to your computer.
2. Plug the smaller end of the USB cable into the USB slot on the side of the camera, and then
plug the other end into an available USB port on your computer.
3. Your camera automatically turns on.
4. On a WINDOWS OS computer, the first time you connect the device to the computer you will
have to wait a few moments until the computer recognizes the device.
Getting Photos and Videos from the Camera to the
Computer
IMPORTANT
: Do not disconnect the cable during transfer. Doing so will cancel the transfer of any
files on their way to your computer.
The camera can also be used to capture images without batteries while connected to the computer
with the provided USB cable. However, the images need to be downloaded before disconnecting
the camera as they are not stored in the camera’s memory without batteries.
