● In some cases, the music player on the mobile phone may not be controlled by the radio buttons, depending on the features of the
mobile phone.
● An audible alert will be heard if the wireless connection is lost. Depending on the external device, reconnection may have to be done
manually by reactivating BT mode.
● Pressing the BT button briefly interrupts the wireless connection and pressing it again activates the wireless connection.
● In case of pairing problems, switch BT mode off and on again on the radio and BT on the external device and try again.
● The volume and sound quality depend largely on the settings of your mobile phone or other device. An installed tone control app can
allow you to set the specific sound you want.
● The actual range depends on the other device and the environmental conditions.
AUDIO AUX OUT / HEADPHONE USE
You can connect stereo headphones or headphones to the
∅
3.5mm
AUX OUT
jack. The speakers will then be muted. You can connect an
external amplifier or an active sound box to the same audio output to provide more volume.
BT and USB/microSD signal sources provide stereo sound for both speakers and headphones.
EQ - BASS AND TREBLE
Press the EQ button to achieve a deeper tone, which can be turned off by pressing the button again. This function is not applicable in radio
and AUX mode.
CLEANING
Remove the charging cable before cleaning! Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the plastic cover of the device. Do not use aggressive cleaning
agents! Do not let liquids get inside the unit or in its connectors.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If a fault is detected, switch the appliance off and unplug it from the charger! Try to reconnect it later. If the problem persists, check to the
following list. This guide may help you identify the issue, provided that the appliance is connected properly. Consult a specialist if necessary.
The appliance does not work
●
The radio is not switched on or the correct signal source is not selected.
- Check the settings of the VOLUME (VOL) and MODE (M) switches.
●
The battery is discharged.
- Check that the charger is in working order and that the connecting cable is correctly inserted into the unit and the charger.
●
The volume is set to zero.
- Turn right the VOLUME (VOL) control.
PLAYING MUSIC STEREO (from USB/microSD device)
Select the
USB/microSD
mode with the
MODE
button. The unit will also automatically switch from another “MUSIC” mode to USB or microSD
mode when you insert the external storage device. Playback will start automatically. Use the play pause
and step buttons to select
the desired programme. Press and hold the step buttons to activate quick search.
● Do not remove the memory card or USB device during playback, as this may cause corruption of the data and the storage device.
● Recommended file system: FAT32. Do not use an NTFS formatted memory unit!
● Abnormal operation may be caused by the specific characteristics of the backup storage; this does not indicate that the device is
malfunctioning!
● Store only playable files on the memory card, as the presence of other types may slow down or prevent playback.
AUDIO INPUT
It is possible to listen to an external device connected to the rear
AUX IN
input (mono) through this radio in good quality. Connect the supplied
3.5mm audio cable to the
AUX IN
jack. If the other device has a different output connector, a converter may be required. Set the volume to the
middle position on both devices and start playback on the external device. Use the
MODE
button to switch to another signal source and then
return to
AUX
mode again. Use the button to mute and then turn the speakers back on.
● The volume and sound quality depend largely on the settings of the external device (computer, mobile phone, etc.). A weak input signal
can result in more noise, and too strong an input signal can result in distorted sound. It is recommended to leave the volume control of
the playback device at the middle position.
● Different signal sources or different modes may result in different volume levels.
Playback from the desired signal source does not work
●

- Check the content and functionality of the data storage device with a computer.
- Check that the radio station is correctly tuned in.
