Detection range setting (sensitivity)

Detection range is the term used to describe the less circular detection zone
produced on the ground the sensor light at a height of 2.5m, switch location
and detection range of the corresponding table is as follows:

NOTE:

the above detection range is gained if the detected person is between

1.6m~1.7m tall and moves at a speed of 1.0~1.5m/sec. if a person’s stature,
figure or moving speed changes, the detection distance will also change.

Time setting

The light can be set to stay ON for any period of time between approx.10sec
and a maximum of 30min. Any movement detected before this time elapse
will re-start the timer.
It is recommended to select the shortest time for adjusting the detection zone
and for performing the walk test. Switch location and detection range of the
corresponding table is as follows:

Transmission power: <0.2mW

Rated load:

1000W/5A, Max, incandescent lamp (cosφ=1)
300W/2.5A, Max, fluorescent lamp and LED lamp (cosφ=0.5)

HF system: 5.8GHz CW electric wave, ISM band

Detection angle: 360°

Detection range: 25%/50%/75%/100% (radii).(adjustable)

Time setting: 10sec/1min/3min/5min/10min/15min/20min/30min(adjustable)

-80lux range

Power consumption: approx 0.5W

The advantage of this product is stable performance at working

    temperatures: 0°C~+40°C, SMS830 adopts a microwave sensor
(highfrequency output<0.2mW), so that it is safe to use.

Shown in chart below

By setting the S1, S2 to set the detection RANGE

of products, by setting S3,S4,S5 to set the DELAY time of products, by
setting the S6 to set the LIGHT-control of products.

NOTE: The product will not function correctly where the sensor is
located behind metallic structures or enclosed in a ceiling cavity.

Remedy

Movement occurred, but was not identified by the sensor

(movement behind wall, movement of a small object in

immediate lamp vicinity etc. )

Rapid movements are being suppressed to minimize

malfunctioning or the detection zone you have set is too small

The sensor/light will not operate

despite movement

The sensor/light operates without

any identifiable movement

The sensor/light is ON all of the time

The sensor/light will not work

Continuous movement in the detection zone

NOTE: after the light switches OFF, it takes approx. 4sec before it is able to
start detecting movement again.  The light will only switch on in response
to movement once this period has elapsed.
