Fans protection by RPM
If fans have “Tacho” outputs it is possible to identify fan failure by their rotational speed. If the system gives a signal for fans to rotate, but they do not,
the protection is activated, the system stops and displays a warning.
Supply air temperature protection
This function protects against undesirable supply air temperature. Minimal and maximal supply air temperature, permissible time and protection ac-
tions are indicated. That protection is limited by the user‘s as well as other functions supply air temperature settings. By default, the minimum permitted
supply air temperature is + 16.5 ° C, and m 35.0 ° C.
Air flow protection by pressure
Upon activation of this protection system will necessarily have to reach the required pressure or the volume of air. If the system does not reach the
required air volume or pressure within the specified time, the protection is activated, the device is stopped and a warning is displayed.
Fire protection from external contact
Normal contact state NC/NO and actions in case of fire are indicated:
• Stop system;
• Boost supply air;
• Boost extract air;
• Boost supply and extract air.
Fire place pressure protection
Differential pressure rely, the one tube of which is mounted to the chimney, and the other into the room, is used for this function. If the fireplace is
leak-proof, 4 Pa is permissible, if it is not leak-proof, the differential pressure limit should be 8 Pa. If the pressure rely is active system stops and the
user is informed by the warning.
Fans protection by integrated protection
This protection is active when fans protection function by RPM is off. The fan protection input is active, the system stops.
Anti-frost plate heat exchanger protection
This function protects the heat exchanger during cold period of the year from ice formation inside the component, which can harm it‘s construction.
This protection function is configured in service menu.
Possible strategies:
• Pre-heater heats the outdoor air by specified and outdoor air temperature;
• Heating of the outdoor air by calculated frost temperature. The difference between calculated and specified temperature during activation is indi-
cated;
• Periodical recirculation is being operated directing exhaust air flow to outdoor air flow by desirable and outdoor temperature settings;

Electric heaters thermo protection
Electric heater may have two protections. One is automatic, the other manual. Automatic protection automatically shuts down when the heater is
cooled, manual protection must be turned off by pressing the switch which is on the heater.
When the protection activates the heater and its power circuit turns off, the warning is displayed. Minimal shut-off time - 5 minutes. When the protection
recovers, the warning is no longer displayed.
Water heater anti-frost protection
This function protects water heater from freezing. Protection is always active by the supply air because the heater can be mounted in supply air duct,
which is not controlled with this control board. The lowest permissible supply air and return water temperature is indicated for the protection. If the
return water or air temperature drops below the specified, the system is stopped, and the warning is displayed.
This function also protects the heater against cold air at system startup. If the heater has been turned off during the heating season, is automatically
heated before starting the fans.
Water heaters circulation pumps protection
Circulation pumps of the heater and pre-heater must always be switched during heating season. During other seasons (except heating) maintenance
check –up is being operated for 5 minutes every specified period of time.
Frost protection, return water temperature, the temperature at which the circulation pump is switched off, the intervals in which the pump is on/off
during the summer are specified.
Outdoor air water preheater anti-frost protection
Protects water preheaters from freezing. Lowest permissible return fluid temperature should be indicated. If the return fluid temperature drops below
the permissible temperature limit unit is stopped and the warning is displayed. The most commonly used fluid - glycol, therefore protection must be set
according to the parameters of the liquid.
This function also protects the preheater against cold air at system startup. If the preheater has been turned off during the heating season, is auto-
matically heated before starting the fans.
Temperature sensor failure protection
Ability to specify what should be done for each temperature sensor failure event.
Available Options:
• unit is stopped and a warning is displayed;
• the unit is working in emergency mode and the warning is displayed
