The proper functioning of the device, at outside air temperatures below -5, is guaranteed by using fresh air pre-heater (to be ordered

additionally). It provides the necessary fresh air temperature at which the system can operate without disruption at optimally sustaining

consumption of electricity.

Performance

Fresh air pre-heater is turned on at the risk of freezing. It is controlled by PID (proportional-integral-derivative controller) controller by 0-10 V signal

according to exhaust air temperature sensor “TE” and the set (service menu items) exhaust temperature limit.

Anti-frost temperature (outside air temperature) limit is set by practical experimental way at + 21 °C of extracted air temperature and 50% relative

humidity. By default fresh air tempe1 °C is preserved by pre-heater. When the temperature reaches -3°C, anti-frost protection stars to work.

Pre-heater (EKA NIS) for anti-frost protection has to be ordered additionally. The pre-heater has overheat protection (protection limiting the tempera-

ture) which starts at + 50 °C and manual which starts at +100°C.

Other information

Adjusting and setting of the function

Configuration is impossible with “Stouch”

Default configuration for unit’s safe and effective operation is - outdoor temperature lower than -5 °C. That’s why the change of the set-

tings is FORBIDDEN:

Menu -> Extra -> Service -> AF1 -> OutDoorTemp – (temperature, which the pre-heater has to preserve according to fresh air sensor LT).

Default value +1 °C.
