SERVICE
Preparation for weighing
Warning:
The batteries are already inserted in the battery compartment at the
factory. To prevent the batteries from being discharged during transport
from the factory to the customer, the batteries are protected by an
insulating strip with the inscription "REMOVE BEFORE USE" , which must
be removed from the battery compartment before the first use by
pulling.
1.
After removing the insulating tape, place the scale on a flat, dry and
hard surface.
2.
Switch the scale on by pressing the ON/OFF button.
3.
The symbol "8888" will briefly appear on the display to indicate the
stabilization of the weighing sensors into weighing mode.
4.
After the display shows "0.0 g", the weighing can start.
5.
If necessary, switch the units using the switch at the bottom of the
scale (the scale is factory set to metric units or weighing in grams.
Notes:
•
If the scale is placed on an uneven or soft surface (e.g. a kitchen towel),
inaccuracies in weighing may occur (the scale may display higher or
lower values).
•
The weight unit you set remains stored in the scale's internal memory
even after the scale is switched off and on again. The exception is when
removing or replacing the battery, when the scale is switched back on,
the unit for weighing the weight is displayed in grams (the g symbol
appears on the display).
