7.5.1. Definition of operating states.
State
S1
BOOSTER OK
Description
The rectifier is working correctly.
Operating state
The rectifier is powering the inverter and keeping the batteries charged.
State
S2
BATTERY OK
Description
The batteries are connected to the UPS.
Operating state
The batteries are being kept charged by the rectifier and are ready to power the inverter.
State
S3
INVERTER OK
Description
The voltage and frequency of the inverter are within the permitted range.
Operating state
The inverter is ready to power the load.
State
S4
INVERTER-->LOAD
Description
The inverter is powering the load.
Operating state
The load is being powered through the inverter’s static switch.
State
S5
INV BYPASS SYNC
Description
The inverter is synchronised with the bypass.
Operating state
The synchronisation between the inverter and the bypass is correct, and the static switch can switch between the two sources.
State
S6
BYPASS OK
Description
The bypass voltage and frequency are within the permitted range.
Operating state
The bypass line is ready for switching in case of inverter failure.
State
S7
BYPASS --> LOAD
Description
Load powered through the bypass line.
Operating state
The load is being powered by the bypass through the static switch, waiting for the inverter to restart.
State
S8
INV MASTER SYNC
Description
The inverter is synchronised with the MASTER UPS.
Operating state
This state only appears in the SLAVE UPS units and indicates that the inverter is synchronised with the signal sent by the MASTER UPS.
State
S10
RECT. IN STANDBY
Description
The rectifier is in standby mode.
Operating state
The rectifier is switched off and ready to start charging the batteries (High-Efficiency algorithm).
State
S11
INV. IN STANDBY
Description
The inverter is in standby mode.
Operating state
The inverter is switched off and ready to start in the event of a malfunction of the bypass network.
State
S12
BATT. IN STANDBY
Description
The batteries are in standby mode.
Operating state
The static switch of the batteries is open and the batteries are disconnected from the DC bus.
State
S14
BATT CHARGING I
Description
The batteries are charging.
Operating state
The static switch of the batteries is closed and the batteries are in the first phase of the I/U charging mode (DIN 41773), with constant
current and increasing voltage.
State
S15
BATT CHARGING U
Description
The batteries are charging.
Operating state
The static switch of the batteries is closed and the batteries are in the second and final phase of the I/U charging mode (DIN 41773), with
constant current and decreasing voltage.
